Westie Fever

It seems that I've gotten the westie fever. I bought BOTH of these things TODAY! One of them is already gone....yes, I ate the cookie! These are not the only westie things in our house. Granted, we don't have a lot, but we're definitely a westie family.

Coney Island

My cousin Matt and his wife Frances are visiting us this week and so we decided to take them to Coney Island. Since Trixie loves it there so much, we brought her along. Look at Trix being a rebel, being in the park that clearly says "NO DOGS ALLOWED!" (feel free to sing that like in Snoopy come Home)Trixie also loved the Cyclone! No joke, check her out here. She went on the coaster with me.And Aaron then said that she could ride it again because she's almost 1, practically an adult.

And then Aaron made us both ride it again so we could get a Christmas card photo. Good thing Trixie is so well tempered.

My bubbles!

Apparently, Miss Trix is a huge fan of bubbles. When we left for my CA for the weekend, we left her at Unleash. The next day, we checked out their blog to discover this photo.It's pretty epic. I mean, all the other dogs are pretty much standing there thinking that bubbles are passe and then here's Trixie jumping for joy and teeth completely bared, thinking they're the bee's knees.
And she only gets more feroucious and cute!I like how focused she is about them. I guess we're going to need to buy a bubble machine now.

Bath day

Two weeks ago, we needed to give Trixie a bath. She was disgusting. Completely dirty because it was raining too often. She was SO dirty that when she was standing in water, it came off black. We had to laugh about it. It was just that funny."I hope mom and dad don't find me. I don't want a bath. I like my dog park smell!"

Newly Deceased!

The mangled shoe of Christina Isaksen was found Saturday night on her bedroom floor. Witnesses say that they noticed a little white dog at the scene of the crime with bits of fabric in its mouth. If you have any information regarding this shoe or this white dog, please call us!

Dirty Trix

Trixie got back to her dig box and digging activities 3 days after her surgery. Not even her cone of shame could stop her from making a mess.
Notice how all that dirt is out of the box and on the astro turf? Yeah, that's not supposed to happen."Don't mind me, I'm just digging to China." I love how cute she looks but cleaning that cone is a pain! Boo, Trix!

Stitches!

Poor Miss Trixie had surgery a little over 2 weeks ago. Here's what her scar looked like right after the surgery. She was so wiped out. This is literally how she was for a good 3 days afterwards! Luckily for us, she got back to her normal self and still has plenty of love for us as well as for her vet.

My puppy is a little clown. With dogs, the best part is that they're never mad at you and love you unconditionally. As Aaron puts it to non dog owning friends, "How many times have you ever been so excited about something that you piss your pants?!"

I spy a Trixie! There were a lot of Trixie's friends at the park today. You can see Wizard and Ginger's headless body. I'm not sure who the little guy in the bottom left is, but Trixie wasn't that interested in him. Sorry little dude.
A happy pup! She's been pretty mellow lately.
