Back home...

Trixie spent 8 days at Unleash recently for a trip that Aaron and I took to Italy. Since they have a blog, we were able to sightsee and then come back to our wifi hotel room and check out how she was doing. We missed her terribly on this trip, talking about how much her tail wags, her little barks, and whether or not she would piddle upon seeing us when we picked her up (she did!)
Marina the picture taker says that Trixie is so fierce! Look at those teeth!
This picture is so cute! Her long pointy ears!
Just chilling. I think this was towards the end of her stay so she was pretty beat.
Marina says that Trixie looks like a stuffed animal. I'd have to agree. What a cutie!
Nom nom. Love bite!

Brighton Beach!

Trixie is so spoiled by her dad! He plans out full day trips of "doggie daddy" outings. This Saturday was Brighton Beach off leash day! How fun, right? She enjoyed running into the surf, finding coconuts, and chasing seagulls! It is REALLY hard to get photos of Trixie running at her top speed on an iphone camera! You can barely see her on the right side of the photo! I guess I need to work on action shots!
And the white blob on the ground is Trix! Look at all those scared seagulls! You get em' Trix!

Unleash

Trixie loved her adventures at Unleash! These photos are by Marina who works there and they were all taken in a single visit! Craziness!
Look at that doggie tongue!
I love her pointy ears! The caption that Marina gave was that this is Trixie's viewpoint with a zombie apocolypse in the background!
Doggie smile! Hooray!
Tuckered out! She doesn't even look like my pup here!

A Busy Day With Trixie

Today, Trixie went to the beach with Aaron. He had just read that dogs are allowed on the beaches before May 1st....what?! That's only one month of sun bathing, sunscreen in our eyes, and sand in places that sand should never be. Oh well, we'll make the most of the one month. See the Wonder Wheel in the back? I wonder what Trixie is thinking about at this very moment. She looks so pensive! And again, what are you thinking about?! Maybe she's sad that she's not tall enough to ride any of the cool rides. She's only allowed to go on the kiddie rides.....and Trixie HATES kiddies! Okay, bad joke! Bad panda! We came home and started gardening. It's still too early for planting many of our plants (the last frost is April 15) but certain plants like daffodils and hyacinths are ready for the cold air....Trixie was so stoked about the new garden that she wanted to help. Look at her telling that plant who's boss!
Oh, one more thing...Trixie LOVES to eat woodchips. It's gotten to the point that she'll throw up and little bits of wood are floating around in the nastiness....Enter the Restricted Zone. The only way Trixie's getting to my plants and woodchips is with a cloak of invisibility....haha, see what I did there? Yeah? No? Okay, it's late, give me some slack.

Play Group

Tonight we went to My Two Dogs for the "20 lb. and under" play group. Trixie has been a couple of times, but I've never been able to attend due to scheduling conflicts! Hooray, I love puppies! Trixie is probably one of the roughest pups there and at times, it's a little embarrassing, but she can't help it....she's a westie, or as Aaron often says, "She's a Trixie."
Here's Squirt, one of Trixie's best friends at play group. Trixie just LOVES to wrestle with him and bite his ears! They chase and run in circles!!!And here's Sarge, Trixie's other friend at play group. Doesn't he look crazy?! He's SO soft and loves to lay like a bear skin rug! Sarge is a lover, not a fighter, so Trixie doesn't get as much bite and chase from him as from Squirt.
