Merry Christmas

It's Trixie's second Christmas on this earth. We took her to see Santa Paws. It was last minute and I admit that in the beginning I thought it was stupid, but then I thought, why not? So this was the last santa I could find that allowed dogs. Next year, I'll make sure I do it early.

A Weekend with Her Boyfriend

We went away for the weekend so we left Trixie with her good friend Henry and his humans. Right away, they were off playing and running through the house. I was lucky to get this shot at all,.....
because this is pretty much what was happening.

Lady and the Tramp

Trixie was all eyes and ears when I decided to watch Lady and the Tramp today! When Lady the pup started howling, she perked her ears up and payed attention to the movie. Can't say she was so interested in it though, as she fell asleep half way through. She even missed the iconic meatball scene.

Times Square

I took Trixie to Times Square today! And lookie there....she's on the big screen....can you see her?

Giving Kisses

Aaron's friends brought their little baby girl to our house and she LOVES Trixie. In fact, this last year when she was a BABY baby, she was STILL trying to get close to Trix. Here she is puckering up to Trixie for some kisses. And wouldn't you know, Trixie loves her friend!

Doggie Model

Trixie is officially a working dog now. She was a model for Billy Wolf, the doggie clothing company this last weekend. She got to keep a coat too! Next stop, Paris....kidding.
She would look so cute in this at the Tartan day parade!
She looks like a boy! I heard that she was a very good girl, just sitting around whenever a coat was put on her. She doesn't really like walking with a coat on.

First Snow

Trixie absolutely LOVES the snow! Cold doesn't bother her. In fact, she'll roll around in it and make snow puppies!

You Can't Stop the Beat

I'm in a show currently and from time to time, I have to bring Trixie to show events (rehearsal, or in this case, a flash mob for advertising). She is loved by most if not all of the cast! She pretty much stayed on her mark....meaning she didn't get stepped on. There were a couple of turns in the number, so rather than drop the leash, I just went under it in both directions. It was FIERCE!

Found these in my camera! Vanjah came over for a couple of days and Trixie became his bed buddy!
Aaron went to the Phillippines and we missed him terribly. We sent him this picture to lure him back home. Kisses and cuteness. Who doesn't want those things?!

Apple Picking, Year 2

We returned to Stuart Farms with Vanjah, Allison, and Jeremy for some fun apple picking. Of course, Trixie was SO excited to get out into the orchard and find the best pie making apples they had. She was actually pretty much no help, only wanting to eat the rotten apples from the ground that the bees were eating.
Look at her, licking her lips! One of my favorite parts of apple picking with Trix is biting an apple right off the branch and then giving Trixie a bite of it. She loves apples! Delicious and healthy!
I gave her my core to lick. She LOVED this treat!

Happy Fall

Trixie is ready to get crazy with fall leaves, apple pies, cider, cool weather, and cuddling in the house.

Doggie Daycare

There are some days that Aaron and I both have to be out of the house, sometimes for the entire day. It seems very unfair for Trix to suffer and be in a crate all day long. SO....
we bring her to doggie day care where she can get tired out. She's meeting a dog named Frida. How sweet.

Trixie gets really vicious/playful there and thankfully, since the staff takes pictures, I get to see her all fluffed out with her teeth bared!
And one of her best friend Maeby was there. We have to ask for their information so we can have a playdate!

Goodbye Meelo

It's sad to say, but Meelo has out stayed his welcome. He's come out of his shell slowly but surely, and is now marking my furniture. This makes a very upset Stina. SO, we took him to Dog Habitat, a no kill shelter. It's also where Trixie goes for daycare. Meelo is now up for adoption on their website and he's very chill in his new doggie pad.This picture looks so sad, like he's crying....I think he'll get adopted, as it is also an extremely cute picture. You just want to give him a kiss.I hope he finds a new home soon. He was really cute and loving, just liked to pee everywhere!

Fit For a Queen

Trixie has been able to jump up on the bed since Maine. She loves it! Her place on the bed is at the foot. Maybe she has enough room down there. I just finished the picture frames above the bed in my interior decorating tirade on the entire house and decided to document it with a picture. I think Trix completes the picture though! Doesn't it look like it's her room???

Bath time for Meelo Beans!

Meelo got a nice bath today. He's been awfully smelly and we just couldn't take it anymore! "Get in the tub, Meelo!" He was SO good in the tub, not even moving around and getting us all wet like Trixie does. It was really weird bathing a dog with balls though....SO WEIRD!
He was also very good when we brushed and dried him. Trixie was really interested in what was going on. She wouldn't leave his side.

Wizard Playdate!

Wizard came over tonight for a crazy romp through the astro turf! They played for over an hour, and I don't mean the wimpy kind of play. We're talking about the wrestle and tumble play!
Trixie looks like Santa Claus here. Check out her monstrous paw coming in for a gigantic slap on Wizard's face!!! Epic!
Aaron likes this photo because Trixie's eyes are C-A-RAZAY! Wizard enjoyed her dig box very much even though he didn't spend much time digging in it.

A New Friend

Today was an ordinary day at the park, meaning that Trixie just sat around and watched her best doggie friends play and chomp on sticks!
Wizard and Ginger were wrestling and I caught this AWESOME action shot!
Look at that cute pup, Trixie! She looks tired even though she did nothing.
And then Meelo came into the picture. Meelo was abandoned at the park yesterday with no tags or microchip. He was in bad shape....extra long nails, smelled a little like pee, and was frightened to death. His owners, whoever the shit heads were, decided to dump him off at the park, tied up, in the sun, without water. After seeing him for less that 2 minutes, I called Aaron and asked if we could foster him until we can find him a new home.
So now the little guy is hanging at our house with Trixie. She's very intrigued by him, guarding his cage and wanting to play SO bad. He's not quite ready....we took him to the vet and he's fine. Hopefully, he'll warm up to everyone soon.
